Ashill Senior Youth club

The club is open to young people aged 11 (once at any high school) until they are 21 years old.

The club meets every wednesday night (except some school holidays ) from 7.30pm - 9.45pm at Ashill Community Centre.Membership is £2 subs 50p visitors 85p

A place to meet your friends in a safe environment.
Snooker pool table tennis darts play station music badminton indoor
Cricket football and unihoc.
Outside during the summer tennis, football rounders and cricket
Outings
Ten pin bowling swimming dri skiing Lynn mart fair solar skate archery air
Rifle shooting and canoeing.

Fund raising events coming up include:-
Sun 22nd July mini fete at 5 Hale road Ashill from 2pm.
Wed 7th Nov bingo eyes down 8pm in the community centre.
Fri 16th Nov 14's and under disco in aid of the b.b.c children in need appeal.
From 7pm - 9.45pm in the community centre.

Brief history of the club

The club was formed on Mon 7th Nov 1966 Officers elected were Chairman Mr S Dennis Vice Chairman Mr Miller, Secretary Mrs M Rose Tresurer Mr L Waters.The first meeting was held on thurs loth nov 1966 in the old village hall from 7pm - 9.3opm

A few years later saw Alan Ketteringham a member of the youth club became the clubs youth leader until 1999.

During the 1980's the club moved to it's present premises in the Community Centre.
